Day 5 - Thursday
Today was a day of accomplishments. Jason rode his bicycle to the top of Logan Pass. He got up at dawn to experience the climb before the park was filled with visitors. In order to do so, he braved the 35 degree morning temps. He said the ride proved challenging on his under-trained legs and that he much preferred the speedy uninterrupted decent. After all...who wouldn't!
The girls and I slept in and then I drank coffee and they watched a movie!! I successfully disconnected the RV and drove the girls to the Apgar Nature Center. They completed their Glacier National Park Junior Ranger packets and asked the ranger some questions. This earned them their Jr. Ranger badges! The plan is to earn one at each National Park.
We decided that we'd all jump into the glacial waters of McDonald Lake. When Alice jumped in, she came up petrified and shouting "HELP ME!" Violet's eyes were huge.
After that, we decided that the KOA pool sounded nice, and for one of us, the laundry facility was calling again. Tomorrow we're headed to a camp ground with no water or electric.

Sounds like the trip is going well. I’m excited to hear the update from Day 6.
