The Park - Silverwood

Day 2 - Monday
We went to Silverwood Amusement Park on Monday.  The wind picked up the night before and we were concerned that it would be cold, but it started off lovely, so we road the roller-coasters, tilt-a-whirl, scrambler, etc.  We decided that we'd save the "water rides" for later in the day when it got warmer.

Warmer never came and drizzle turned to all out rain, so we went for it.  We rode the log ride and got even wetter, so what do you do?  We rode another thing that filled both my shoes completely with water.  By the time we got to the RV our clothes and shoes were so wet that we had to put them in the underneath storage, but the only empty spot was in a cooler.

The park is bigger than I'd expected.  It was super clean and absolutely worth a return trip!

During our 5 hour drive to West Glacier, Jason found a turn out where we hiked to Kootenai Falls and Suspension Bridge.  The timing was perfect because I was about to pull out my hair (or someone else's).  The kids are in their pajamas and had to wear flip flops because their shoes were still chilling in the cooler.  It was such a fun and random break.

It's now 11:15 PM and I'm sitting in the West Glacier KOA laundry facility (which is surprisingly busy) trying to dry our only coats and shoes because it's 40 degrees outside.
